Today my Botanist Boy turns 15. Wow! Hard to believe! Today was a rather ordinary day, for an extraordinary young man.
I am so proud of the young man he is becoming.
This year he is in 9th grade. High school! Unbelievable! Basically I'll have him home for only about another 3 1/2 years, then he'll be off to college. We're trying to prepare him to attend (most likely) Southern Adventist University, in Tennessee, to study to become a pastor.
Today, though, he celebrated his birthday with pancakes and orange juice for breakfast and homemade pizza for lunch. His choice of cake was red velvet this year.
The boys had a video marathon today, watching MacGyver.
Oh, and we mustn't forget the gifts!
Okay, Son; it's back to schoolwork and chores as usual tomorrow!
