Random 5 on Friday, January 30

1. The weather has been unbelievable this week! Lovely, spring-like weather! Oh, yeah; ready for Spring!
2. The other day, the boys brought in a big box from storage. It contained the old stereo system that my first husband and I had. Hard to believe that it's 30+ years old! The boys were fascinated with it, as well as the old 45s. Botanist Boy was especially impressed that the record play stops automatically when the record is done. They've really been enjoying listening to the old records (some that were my grandfather's).
3. The boys had orthodontist appointments on Monday. Little Bit was supposed to get some more brackets put on, but his teeth still haven't come in far enough. However, Botanist Boy received good news! The countdown is on, for his braces to come off! He cannot wait!

4. I would like to ask for some extra prayers for my mom. She has been dealing with respiratory "junk" for several weeks now. She's been to the doctor more than once; received several rounds of meds. Please pray it will all clear up soon. ~Thanks.

5. I'm writing this Friday, as the sun goes down. Thus begins another Sabbath.
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Genesis 2:1-3, KJV.

May you have a blessed Sabbath.
