TOS Review: BeeYouTiful

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."~3 John 1:2, KJV.

Good health is important, vital, even. Maintaining our health is also important. When you can find natural health products to assist in that maintenance, well, that's a big bonus in this day and age.

BeeYouTiful is new to me. When I saw them on the upcoming vendor list for the Crew, I was eager for a chance to try some of their products!

We have various health "issues" in our household. Hubby and I have rather intense sensitivities to fragrances/odors/perfumes, so we have to be choosy about household cleaning products, as well as bath products.

Hubby has some pretty extreme food allergies, as well as digestive issues. Some of us have lactose intolerance. Teen Girl has Type 1 Diabetes, as you may know if you've been following my blog for any length of time. And all the guys have airborne allergies, pollens, etc.

Also, due to the various vehicle accidents hubby has been in (most recent one, 4 years ago, when a semi plowed into the vehicle he was in from behind!), he suffers from chronic pain. I, also, suffer chronic pain.

The products we received to review:

Ow!-Ease, an Arnica Trauma Salve, will Ease your pain away. Using a proprietary blend of herbs, Ow!-Ease relieves pain associated with sprains, strains and pulled ligaments and muscles, bruises, and contusions. It works quickly and effectively to help reduce swelling and muscle pain, and is excellent as a rub for body builders, construction workers, and gardeners alike. The amazing qualities of these herbs work synergistically to soothe, restore, and actually speed tissue healing.

Arnica is a yellow, daisy-like, alpine flower, which has a long history of folk medicine use in Russia and the Swiss Alps. It's a very strong herb and is not safe for internal use.

Other components of Ow-Ease include:

Organic chamomile and wildcrafted calendula—gentle, anti-inflammatory herbs, useful especially for easing muscle soreness and nervous tension.

Organic St. John’s wort, known as a natural depression-lifter.

There is a video, telling more about Ow!-Ease and it's uses.

It seems Little Bit always has bruises somewhere, poor little guy. So we have been administering Ow!-Ease when ever I spot a bruise. He says it seems to sooth the pain, and makes the bruises heal more quickly.

I've been using it on my knee....but I think I have more "going on with it" than just bruised, sore muscles. And most of hubby's pain is from nerve damage, so he hasn't used the Ow!-Ease at all.

The other product we received:

B.A.L.M. - Beeyoutiful All Natural Lip Moisturizer, which comes in two soothing flavors: Peppermint and Orange. We received orange (which means hubby could not use it at all, since he is allergic to citrus!).

Ingredients include:

GrapeSeed Oil- high in antioxidants (procyanidolic oligomers and polyphenols) and linoleic acid which nourish, moisturize, naturally provide anti-inflammatory support, and help smooth fine lines and wrinkles! So instead of merely relieving your chapped lips, it is nourishing them and helping them look their best as well!

Shea Butter- also high in antioxidants, Shea Butter helps bring elasticity back to the skin, moisturizes, has natural sun protection, and helps bring healing to scars and wounds.

Beeswax- recommended by Mayo Clinic as an excellent choice for a lip balm, beeswax is high in germicidal antioxidants, possesses natural anti-inflammatory abilities, and has been shown to have antibacterial qualities. It gives body to the lip balm while providing moisture and cell restoration for your lips!

Essential Oils- (Either Orange or Peppermint Essential Oil)- Both provide refreshing flavors while providing their naturally inherent benefits to your lips! Orange is a refreshing, citrusy blast that helps to brighten your lips. Peppermint’s cool, tingly flavor will bring soothing refreshment to your lips on the driest of days!

Teen Girl frequently has chapped lips. I believe a lot of it's caused by the diabetes, dehydration. She really likes the B.A.L.M.

The drier weather of winter causes chapped lips for many people. I know I used to suffer with chapped lips back when we lived in Montana...not so much down here in the more humid South. Still, I found the B.A.L.M. to be soothing, and I like the slight fragrance.

BeeYouTiful has many other products I'd like to try out sometime. (Such as Tension Tamer; Tummy Tuneup; or Winter Breeze Vapor Rub)   I believe they will be found helpful in many ways. I'm already developing a wishlist! ;-)

Ow!-Ease can be purchased for $15.00 for a 1-oz. tube; or buy 3 for $13.50; 6 for $12.75 each; 12 for $12.00 each. B.A.L.M. sells for $3.00 each, or 3 for $2.70 each.

You'll want to read more reviews, about various other products from BeeYouTiful, since those of us on the Crew did not all receive the same items!
