What the Kids at Rossmont Like Best About Homeschooling

This week, for the Blog Cruise, my kids get to do the "talking"! They are to answer: What do you like best about homeschooling?

Teen Girl's response: I like being able to be at home. It's nice being able to sleep later in the mornings....and we can do school in our pajamas, if we want to!

(I know her diabetes often makes her very tired. So, it is good that she doesn't have to get up quite so early in the mornings.)

What Botanist Boy likes best about homeschooling is being able to be home, and check on the "animals and Eskimos" periodically throughout the day. ;-)

We have goats, chickens, rabbits and the dog outside. The kids enjoy the treasure hunt of looking for eggs. Sometimes they have to put chickens back into the pen. And the dog is always ready to play!

Little Bit's response: I like being able to learn about boats, and trains, and stuff. (I think that means, he likes being able to do the unit studies/theme studies we use.) He also absolutely adores tending all the animals. He's quite the little chicken wrangler! ;-)
