The boys are just finishing up this fun Download N Go! Let me tell you, they have really had fun with this one!! I may have a budding engineer/inventor on my hands!! ;-) They were enthralled with watching the video clips, and discovering all the things robots can do. Even the teenagers got in on watching some of those videos!
The daily objectives for this unit are:
Day 1: What Is a Robot?
Day 2: The History of Robots
Day 3: People and Places of Robots
Day 4: Science Secrets of Robots
Day 5: Goodies and Gadgets of Robots
We enjoyed learning about a specific robot, a different one each day, from out in space, to the ocean depths. We learned what AUV, ROV, and HOV mean. What role, if any, did Leonardo da Vinci have in the history of robots? It was truly fascinating to learn all the different things robots can do!
