Now another year begins

 

Our school year is underway now. Timothy is taking most of his Freshman classes through the Florida Virtual School.

 

Jennifer is taking math and personal fitness through FLVS, and she is also working on a horse unit study to start with. Then she will spend most of the year doing Where the Brook and River Meet.

 

Daniel is doing Five in a Row, and Steven participates some with him. The boys will also do some Before Five in a Row. I will also be doing Reading Made Easy with Daniel.

 

To start the year, we are participating in a postcard exchange with a group of Five in a Row families. We have already received several!  We are also doing a Flat Stanley exchange. Our first visitor arrived yesterday!

Between school with the kids, therapy for Steven, well-child checkups for all the kids this month, swimming at a friend's pool, and my schoolwork, this month is flying by, too. But, praise the Lord, I only have 5 weeks left of my classwork, then I will have obtained my Bachelor's degree--in Visual Communication. And I am back on the Dean's List, and it looks like I will be graduating with honors!!
