“And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:2,3.
It is Independence Day, here in the United States. What a blessing to live in a country where we still have independence and freedom. Today we celebrate our Nation's independence.
And in our family, we have begun our summer birthday season, beginning on June 28, when my youngest became a teenager! Oh, help! LOL Then later this month, my daughter will turn 22, and my oldest will turn 24. What? Nearly a quarter of a century old?!
Next Sabbath (July 11), we will be celebrating the baptism of my youngest! What a joyous celebration that will be!
What are you celebrating this season?
