2013 Gratitude Challenge/Diabetes Awareness Month

November is Diabetes Awareness Month. Today is World Diabetes Day.

I am grateful for the progress that has been made in diabetes care. I am also thankful for the continuing research being done, and the search for a cure. It would be wonderful for a cure to be found in Jen's lifetime.

I'll admit, we really didn't do anything here to "celebrate" World Diabetes Day. Ah, well.

What are you grateful for today? Stop by and share on Brenda's blog, and follow along through the month.

  1. For world diabetes day, I wore a blue shirt, checked my blood sugar 8-10 times, inserted both a new insulin site and a new continuous glucose monitor, planned carb balanced meals/snacks, calculated insulin doses for those meals, etc, etc. I guess I really know how to celebrate a holiday! :)
