What is one of the most popular snack foods in the US? Popcorn, of course! Do you know how many kinds of corn there are? And how many of those make popcorn? Do you know how many shapes of popcorn there are?We had a lot of fun exploring popcorn with the Hoppin' Popcorn Download N Go! We learned the history of corn in general, and popcorn in particular. We learned where popcorn is grown, and about the Corn Belt of the USA.
The video clips of farm machinery, virtual tours of corn mazes and museum, were fascinating. It was fun to watch popcorn pop, and seeds germinate. Our mouths watered over the various suggestions of how to prepare popcorn, too!
