DNG Review: Kite Capers

One of the things March is most noted for is wind. With wind comes thoughts of kite flying. What better time to learn more about kites, the history of kites, famous men who used kites, and wind?!

One of the fun things we did was make our own little kite, from tissue paper....then we attempted to fly it. Apparently it wasn't windy enough the day we attempted to fly. But we had fun anyway!

We had fun drawing a new kite design each day, too. Choosing a favorite kite from all of the pictures we saw was a bit of a challenge, because we liked them all! I think my favorite style was the large octopus shape.
