2010 Gratitude Challenge--Day 13

I skipped yesterday.

Yes, you read that right...I skipped yesterday.

But I will admit, yesterday I was grateful for the help of my children in getting our housecleaning chores completed. I am grateful for the help they gave me in cleaning out the fridge (a couple items were turning green! ;-) ). So this morning, I am grateful to awaken to a fairly clean house!

Today I am grateful for the Sabbath. I'm thankful that God loved us so much that He gave us this one day a week to spend extra time with Him, and He with us.

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Mark 2:27, 28.
