Just killing time....

Surprise! We are still at my folks'!!! We are so ready to be heading home!

Thursday, after meeting my dad and cousin at the Citrus Tower, eating lunch, then heading back to my folks', we stopped first thing to see what the progress was on my van....The new part had been put in....but the van was still doing what it had been doing! So, Dad and I took the van to the GM dealership.

After doing a lot of diagnostics on it, they told us Friday what they thought the problem was, and that it should be ready Monday.

That night, the kids were going to sleep in the motorhome....but my poor daughter found ants all in her clothes....That was her undoing!! Poor girl, just sat down and burst into tears! I knew just how she felt, because that is how I felt when we found the ants all over my bed!!

My folks stayed home yesterday to puppy-sit Mom's puppy, while the kids and I went to the church we used to attend when we lived here. It was a special, musical church program....something my heart just really, really needed right now. After potluck, we visited with friends; their youngest two children are best friends with my youngest two.

It was pleasant to visit, discussing homeschooling, parenting, life in general, while the kids enjoyed each other. Mr. Mike even took the kids on a treasure hunt/walk, and they came back with all kinds of treasures (well, mostly spent shot gun shells, and railroad spikes), sipping iced tea brewed from homegrown mint....

Today we are just marking time; doing laundry; waiting to the time to pass, so we can try to sleep another night in recliners, on the floor, on the love seat in my folks' living room.....and tomorrow can come, so hopefully we find out our van is finally finally finally ready to travel home!!!! Meanwhile, the boys are having a great time helping Grandpa with all his projects in the yard. ;)

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."~Romans 5:1-5, KJV.
