Our Week, Illustrated, June 7-13 {with link up}

This week has been a bit lonely, and quiet, without Botanist Boy here.

Little Bit has continued with some school work, mainly math and IEW PAL (for which you may read my review).

We've been observing the growth and changes in our garden box.

Thursday we attended our orthodontist's patient party, and Little Bit was able to invite a friend. We invited another homeschooling boy (his sister is Botanist Boy's violin teacher). The facility had laser tag, miniature golf, pool, and table hockey.

We were served pizza, cookies and cupcakes, and sodas and bottled water.

The boys had a lot of fun, while we moms visited for a bit. Even our guest's older sisters played a round of miniature golf.

When we arrived home, we discovered "they" had spread this green stuff (which looks like green insulation) over some of the area they'd torn up, leaving these nasty ruts behind.

We've had some rain each day since then, and it's only caused more erosion. <sigh>
