Teaching Creatively--Toys, Games, and Puzzles

Welcome back! Today I'll just share with you a few of the games we like to play around here as part of school, and even a 3D puzzle.

(About a year and a half ago, we reviewed this game. Little Bit enjoyed it, and still plays it now and then.)

These games were also review items. Wits & Wagers. Say Anything.

My mom purchased this for us one time when we were visiting them in Florida. Botanist Boy is very enthusiastic about lighthouses. Someday we hope to visit all the lighthouses in Florida.

What a great way to learn geography! But I think I enjoy these games more than the kids do, though. ;-) They can be purchased at Rainbow Resource.

Here is a fun way to drill basic math facts: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

This puzzle is pretty challenging, but we certainly get some geography drill work in when we put it together. You can find this at Rainbow Resource.

What games or puzzles do you like to use in your home school. See how the rest of the Crew uses toys or puzzles or games in their homeschools.
