This little poem was part of Little Bit's reading lessons. When I saw the worm in our yard, it made me think of the poem. Poor little Ooey Gooey! (And who knows, maybe this worm became some bird's breakfast.)

We've had lots of worms come out of the front yard soil and dry up on the sidewalk and driveway. Poor worms!
